Santa Lucía Neighborhood

Founded in the year 1594, its temple is a work of the architect Carlos Z. Flores and honors Santa Lucía de Siracusa, advocate of those who suffer from eyesight. The style of the temple is neoclassical, of simple and elegant forms. The neo-Gothic altar stands out, matching the pulpit of the same manufacture.

The original trade of this neighborhood is craftsmanship and the seat of builders. In addition, its inhabitants are also dedicated to the elaboration of rockets and bulls. Today we can find a market dedicated to the sale of traditional sweets, made by local people.
